A big hello to everyone! Sunday turned out to be an excellent day for me, after resting my injured ankle from the previous days crash, I had an excellent race dominating with a win! Having time on day 2 I was able to check out lap times from day 1's races and even though I only won the first race I had the fastest lap time in every race showing my speed has come back . This with me qualifying fastest has given me the confidence I need to take me back to level I was at before I was diagnosed with the Epstien Bar Virus. I want to take a moment to thank all of my sponsors Yamaha Australia, Dingo De Construction, ATV Pro, PEP Suspension, Edge Equipment Australia, Pilbara Food Services, Shotz Sport Nutrition, Pilbara Clean Machines, Yamalube and Thor. The next race is the 2nd State Round in Collie then heading straight up to Alice Springs for the famous desert Finke Race! Ill keep you all posted on my progress. Cheers Ryan!

Hi Everyone, Today was a great turn out and would first like to thank AJS for putting on a fantastic event, the track was so much fun! Today we had three races resulting in a 1, 3 and another 3, we have one more race tomorrow to finish the round. The first race went really well, with the WA boys Luke Gaisford, Jordan Dummett and myself getting out of the first turn and leading the pack. I soon took first place and was able to check out for first place which was a great result to start off the day! For the second race it started off just the same with us WA boys showing everyone how its done but then Luke and I got stuck together early in the first lap and were held up for nearly half a lap putting us in last. We both fought through the pack in just 7 laps to get up to 3 place! In the 3 race I had a great start but came close to another ride and was flipped whilst on my bike and then hit by another rider. I was helped by flaggies and got back on my bike but was once again in last place by over half a lap and worked my arse off to get back to 3 place again! Maybe tomorrow morning I can repeat the first race and have clean race, stay on the bike, put on a good show for the crowd and win another one for the team?! One thing’s for sure the racing tomorrow is going to be intense with a worked tracked and fast riders both quads and two wheelers. If you can it would be great to see you at the track tomorrow to support the WA riders, its the first time in 3 years since the MX Nationals has been to Perth and we have so far put on an awesome show! I have put some photo’s up thanks to Lenny from ATV Pro, and will try to get some more tomorrow. Talk soon, cheers! Ryan

Hey Everyone, Over the past weekend I attended the North West Round at my old home town of Tom Price and was able to find my speed once again. Overall I had a fantastic weekend and would like to thank everyone who made the weekend possible it ran smoothly and was great to see everyone again! This coming weekend is really big for my team and I as we have the second round of nationals at my new local track of AJS at Wanneroo. I would love to see some fans come down and support the quad class. We have 3 races on Saturday and 1 race on Sunday. So a big week ahead with testing and practice hoping to get the bike perfect for the sand track to give me the best chance possible. Hope everyone has a great week, this rain is making it the best weather for riding!! Cheers Ryan

Hi Everyone, Over the weekend I attended the first State Round held at Coastals in Kwinana. The turnout was huge with over 270 riders which made for some excellent racing on the day. The first race did not go to plan; I had a reasonable start until the bike started to cut in and out, making it difficult to hold positions resulting in a disappointing fifth. The second race, changes were made to the bike and with a good start it was a better result getting a 2nd behind Luke Gaisford. The third race saw an extremely rough track which I was excited as we made further changes to the suspension. I got a good start with third and was able to finish another 2nd, resulting in 2nd overall for the round. I was happy with how the days results as we are progressing to where we want to be, as the start to the year hasn’t been ideal results wise but is to be expected with limited time on the bike and more recently some health issues which my team and I are working through and hope to be strong soon. I would like to thank all my sponsors and fans for your support, especially Yamaha Australia for the great bike, Edge Equipment Australia, Dingo De Construction and ATV Pro. Also a big thanks to Steve from Pilbara Food Services who is helping me get my bike up to Tom Price for the North West Round, which I’m so excited for as its where I started racing! Look forward to seeing everyone there! Cheers, Ryan

Hi Everyone, We have just come back from a weekend trip to country NSW where we had our first round of the 2012 ATV Nationals along side the MX Nationals. Saturday we had three, six lap races and then one more six lap race on the Sunday. We had spent the weeks leading up trying to prep the bike and myself for the weekend but I just wasnt as prepared as I'd liked. The 1st race went well with a good start, managing to have a quick stint in first place until I was raced down by fellow West Aussie Luke Gaisford who quickly gained a lengthy lead. Playing around with the set up of my bike for the next three races we never quite got it right, resulting in a 4th, 2nd and 3rd. Getting an overall 2nd for the round was a good achievement for the weekend but I can assure you for the next two rounds, my eyes will be on the top spot! My team and I will be working hard all week to get myself and the bike in the best possible position for our first WA State Round heald at Henderson Park, Kwinana this Sunday. I will keep you posted on my results, if you can make it down I can assure you there will be some fast racing and great battles in the Pro Quad class! Have a great week and will post soon! Cheers

Hello Everyone, I have very high expectations for myself this year, the goal is to dominate the Australian ATV National Series and the WA State Championships. The first major race of the year is the 1st National Series in NSW on April 15th, I hope to have my new YFZ450R in perfect race condition. We have a local race; Quickstarts, being held at my favourite track AJS (Wanneroo), WA on February 19th. This race should be a great warm up to the season and I will be able to gauge the speed of my competitors. I hope to see my fans at some of the races, please feel free to come up and say hi. Will talk soon. Cheers, Ryan!

Sorry it’s been so long since the last blog, I have been flat out training, working and racing. A quick look back at what I’ve been up to. - Tom Price North West Round: Was good to race back at home on the track i love to ride - AJS Winter Sports Day: Excellent day, 4 holeshots, 4 wins! - AJS State Round: day started well wining the first race after a good battle. Second race started well with a holeshot and checking out, when the bike suffered an unfortunate electrical fault which I was unable to diagnose causing me to DNF and DNS the final race. - Bunbury State Round: I was really looking forward to this round as the track is awesome. The first race didn’t go as planned with a bad start and lots of silly mistakes leaving me finishing in third. The next two races went better with two good starts finishing with two comfortable wins, giving me an overall 1 for the state round. - Rockstar MX Nationals ATV Cup: We had a great opportunity of being invited to the last round of the Rockstar MX Nationals. It was a great opportunity to showcase our sport on a large stage. A big thank you to Kevin Williams for making it all happen and to KTM Australia for shipping the bike over to the Sunshine Coast. I has a fantastic weekend holeshoting all four races and comfortably winning, making it a perfect weekend. A big thank you to my family and friends and to Len from ATV Pro for supplying me with the awesome Gold Speed Tyres and PEP Suspension which proved to be the winning combination. In the weeks coming up I have the following race meets on: - King of the Sand at Wanneroo - The final two State Rounds, Noble Falls and Byford - The big one, Nationals in Coolum on the first weekend in October. I promise to update you all more throughout the coming weeks. I would also like to welcome our great new sponsor Kelly Equipment Supplies, a long time friend of the family business and now a great addition to the racing team!

Hi all well I have had a great return to racing after braking my shoulder a month ago. After limited time on the bike I managed to make it to AJS Wanneroo for Events Cup 3, which was perfect to test my shoulder and get my PEP suspension dialled in for WA State Round 2 at Coastals. I was confident coming into this weekend knowing I had done all the hard work off the bike. I struggled a little in the first race coming second to a fast Luke Gaisford. The final two races were a lot better, I had again found my grove and won the races convincingly. I am excited for the next few months, I have a lot of racing coming up and I am returning to race a North West Round in Tom Price, my old home town. A track I LOVE! Well I will keep you all posted with my results in the next few weeks. See ya!
